RICOLOPEZ has an impressionist - expressionist style with a gorgeous sweeping strong impasto of spontaneous forceful brush strokes and  heavy use of the oil paint. RICOLOPEZ Had an opening  in Valencia - Spain at the " Segrelles Del Pilar Galeria" for his exhibition from November 7th till November 25th.We will post photographs very soon.

On February 2nd, 2006 RICOLOPEZ had an exhibition " Color and Tranquility" at AGORA GALLERY  in Chelsea, New York, NY:

  Opening of the Exhibition " Unfolding the Mind " at AZUCART GALLERY in CORAL GABLES, Florida  on November 4th, 2005 where he  shared the space with his sculptor daughter Dulce Maria Rico. The exhibition ended November 29th , 2005:

RICOLOPEZ's NEW PORTRAITS.

RICOLOPEZ is radiant and bold with a very personal modeling of his figures by the strength of the expression. In his work we see the use of complementary colors, the light use in the impressionistic style and the  movement of form with a true expressionistic influence.

In RICOLOPEZ's work we see his passion for nature, humble people in shimmering yellows, rich hues of blue and his vigorous whites .
